From the company that watches everything you watch on your TV.

love how fox took them over and immediately brought in the ai slop
The Fox deal goes through next year, this is just Roku being the worst
They’re about to find out the expensive way that nobody wants nor cares about AI-generated “content”.
Confined to its own corner, that doesn’t sound half bad. Now I’m curious how you fill 24/7 with AI slop. They basically attached a graphical AI’s output to the network?
edit: nah, unfortunately not. “According to Variety, the AI content is made by creators that Petrie-Norris found on social media, including Kelly Boesch, Kavan the Kid’s Phantom X Studio, filmmaker Ryan Phillips, Wonder Studios and Massive Studios. If you aren’t familiar with any of those names, consider it a good thing.”
Here’s a little excerpt not sure if I want to laugh or puke
The acting is soooo bad. Actually no, this isn’t even acting it’s fucking generated slop what the hell am I even on about. Fuck this entire timeline
Yeah it’s bad when you catch yourself thinking about it as … well, somebody’s work
Oh barf 😆😆
It’s really not that long ago that the internet was clamouring over a 24/7 AI slop stream on Twitch. This technology has gone from being the hottest new toy to the most hated thing in the world very quickly.
I mean even then, theres a significant difference right? An individual, independent streamer doing something kinda novel and shitty vs a large corporation doing something annoying and shitty
