The UN confirmed that Israeli entities including the Israeli army have been added to the United Nations blacklist for sexual violence in conflict zones in a briefing on Friday.

The news was first reported by the Jerusalem Post on Thursday with the Israeli ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, saying the decision was “political” and “detached from the facts and from reality”. The Jerusalem Post also reported that Israel has frozen relations with the office of UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

The Israeli Prison Service is included in the list, with other entities being monitored for possible future inclusion.

It’s about bloody time.

What does getting blacklisted by the UN actually do to the Zionist state of Israel?

Just neg aura? Maybe that’s a bit helpful, I doubt anything real is happening to stop Israel though.

I agree with you. The positive imo is that it gives the reporting credibility so that opposition and incremental pressure against the regime increases from more people. The truth is important, Those who continue their silence in the face of so many crimes against humanity will be seen for what they are. Just moving too slow.

Yeah, netanyahu himself has said that Israel is losing the “propaganda war” as 50% of US people are no longer pro-Israel and he considers social media the cause. (Which is why he’s quintupled the propaganda budget)
