It’s not that monumental, and still lower than the profits from their actions.
See, that’s one of the big things that infuriates me about corporate penalties of this nature: the profit they generate from the illegal thing generally outweighs - and often outright dwarfs by orders of magnitude - the penalty the court assesses. The solution is super obvious: assess penalties on top of the confiscation of ill-gotten gains. But that will certainly never happen.
