Ted has lost 1.25 kg in the past year, which is excellent. Vet was very happy.
But he was so stressed he couldn’t get vaccinated. So he has some sedative to take and will get vaccinated next week.

Stood there, watched me fill it up, something clicked, jumped in.
Might be the smell of fresh water or the splashing sounds that triggered it. But now that it knows, you’ll have a regular visitor! I have a couple of magpies that visit my bird bath. One of them only ever drinks, the other one likes to get in and splash around. Only worry I have is the water heats up a lot on hot days, so I try to go change it out in the afternoons if it’s a hot day.
I waited for someone else to start the cheers but no takers.
Already planning Australia Day. Think I’ll celebrate with a pint of VB (not my usual tipple) and a read of The Lucky Country.
I’m going to celebrate by finishing off a night shift at 7am, sleeping as much as I can, then going back in the evening to start another shift at 7pm.
That’s a really good book. Thoroughly enjoyed it. 👍
