  • Meal prepping day. I bought myself some silicone food moulds (souper cube ripoffs) for Christmas which has been excellent for portion control. This week I will be mostly eating eggplant parmigiana (made 2x2cup serves baked in the same silicone tray i will freeze them in), instant pot shredded chicken (will freeze in half cup serves), a giant baked vege plus fetta plus chickpea roasted tray to pop in the fridge. I have salad bits and silverbeet and some fresh basil and mint too. I need to remember to put some yoghurt on overnight and that plus blueberries plus LSA is breakfast.




  • Just finished my Lord of the Rings listen. It’s been YEARS since I read the books and the audiobooks are so good. Coming back to it as an adult I see so much more subtlety - as a kid I never understood why there’s half a book of stuff after they destroy the ring. But now I do, so many war books never deal with coming home and what that does to people.

    But now I am a bit sad 😢

    Anyway 5 out of five hobbits. Stay tuned for more cutting edge early reviews 🤣







  • I don’t have a solution yet but just wanted to add I have the same issue. And I want to get in to cancel my account - that’s when I realised I had no access. I tried VPN, private browsing. I came to the conclusion that my account is tagged as AU and so it gets blocked as soon as I log in which I need to do to cancel.

    I tried their help bot which said it couldn’t help with that. It sent me to their help page which had no option for the problem…I sent a request anyway under a vaguely related topic but I have heard nothing and don’t expect to.

    Will try TOR too but not hopeful :-/

    The thing that really shits me is that it kept emailing me from subscribed newsletters so this is very much not about protecting anyone from any content. No way I trust them enough to give them my image and scan of passport - jeeezus! For now I have just unsubscribed from emails as I get them.

    If I do find a solution I will let you know.



  • Oh yeah! I promised some ideas didn’t I? First get a good protein powder for smoothies after gym. Don’t really have a recommendation here though.

    Good protein options

    • can of chickpeas, drain and roast for 5/10 mins. Add a little bit of oil and any spices you want (I usually do s&p, paprika and a bit of chilli). This is a great snack or through rice etc
    • tofu. Buy the firm stuff and squeeze moisture out before you do anything with it. It also freezes well and goes firmer when defrosted. But it has no taste so marinade or spice it up like chicken. Bit of hoisin sauce, or honey and soy. Best cooked in oil on hot for crsipyness but under the griller is good too
    • buy some of the three or four bean mix. That, corn, tomato and some sweet chilli sauce is like the quickest salad ever.

    If you make bolognaise then you can swap out mince for lentils. Use brown or red or a mix.

    Derek Samo on YouTube has a bunch of good vegan stew recipes and tips. rainbow plant life is ok but sometimes she just has too many ingredients and I can’t be bothered.
