There are legal services you can subscribe to that give you a phone number to call if you get arrested and they’ll send out a lawyer. The one I have is $300 a year.
The ACLU will probably be charged alongside any protesters anyway, just to eliminate using them for legal counsel under the guise of “because I said so” and Judge Cannon et al will just accept it

Yes. I think people are wise to the fact that the simple potential of facing charges is the threat that is supposed to intimidate and suppress opposition.
