Yes, but not on accident.
Easy to underestimate how much of a room can be covered by a mere litre or two of fluid, once the spillage spreads out flat.

This one time
at band campI was in the hospital when they pulled the iv, the blood hit the ceiling. The nurse freaked out and ran out into the hallway, leaving me to put pressure on it to stop the blood loss. There was a bunch of gauze right there, across the room, I just couldn’t get to it. Lots of fun.
