Ich hab jetzt mal in eine random Folge reingeschaut und da wurden keine Notunterkünfte genutzt und nur andere Touristen für Geld angeschnorrt, Einheimische nur als Anhalter.
Ich sage es ganz ehrlich, wenn das repräsentativ war, sehe ich das Problem nicht.

Und ich habe natürlich keine Ahnung ob und wie das von den Teilnehmenden oder Produzierenden gemacht wird, aber im Nachhinein eventuell genutzte öffentliche Einrichtungen zu entschädigen, sollte ja auch kein Problem und ein einfacher PR win sein.

The asking for directions “to stay away” is a running joke that (I think) originated in “It’s always sunny in Philadelphia” and neither in the show, nor at any other point does this running joke make fun of the victims, it specifically makes fun of the hypocrisy of the statements.

The late sex workers are not the butt of the joke and so I strongly believe that your disgust is misplaced.

Da ich zum Glück bei einer halbwegs kompetenten Dienstherrin untergekommen bin, unterschätze ich manchmal wie kafkaesk Behördengänge woanders gerne mal werden können.

Ich selbst kenne mich da auch gar nicht aus, habe nur das (in diesem Fall vielleicht sogar wirklich) gefährliche Halbwissen weitergegeben, das mir mal irgendwann erzählt wurde.

Eine Bekannte hat mal bei einer Waffenbehörde gearbeitet und das ganz ähnlich geschildert.

Sollte oftmals sogar möglich sein, das über das örtliche Ordnungsamt zu regeln, wenn man sich nicht an die Polizei wenden will.
Naja außer es sind Kriegswaffen, dann wäre ich auch vorsichtig.

Don’t know about the rest of Europe, but in Germany you cannot just choose freely what happens to your remains.

They must be handled by an undertaker and there are laws about how and where remains can be buried.
I think there are discussions to loosen some of those restrictions to maybe allow for remains to get worked into trinkets or jewelery and stuff, but I don’t really know how far along those discussions are.

It is basically unheard of to have the ashes of a loved one in an urn at home, like you see in movies.

There actually are even laws for the remains of pets, but I think they are not really enforced and most pet owners that I know don’t care and bury their pets somewhere private.

I completely agree with the first paragraph.

If I had to poach an older egg, I would put it in a kitchen strainer first (actually I mostly do this wish fresh eggs as well if I’m not too lazy that day).

The egg white of a fresh egg usually is still inside a small membrane-like thingy, but with time some of it leaks out, which becomes the fuzzy white when you poach an older egg.
Straining the egg removes most of it and makes the egg somewhat poachable again.

I also would still recommend fresh eggs, though.

I thought that specifically referred to Aang’s story.

Wenn man mich fragen würde, was in dieser Situation wohl der Vorschlag eines comichaft überzeichneten Bösewichts wäre, hätte ich vermutlich gesagt “Pendlerpauschale erhöhen und vielleicht Steuer auf Diesel senken.”

Es gibt vieles an Dobrindt, was man berechtigterweise verachten kann.

Hier hat dann ursprünglich noch ein Halbsatz begonnen, der mit einem “aber” gestartet wäre.
Den habe ich kurz gelöscht um ihn in etwas umzustellen und dabei gemerkt, dass der erste Teil eigentlich auch alleine schon reicht.
