I never played Portal because I could never get the sound to work on my machine, but Portal 2 is the only game I didn’t actually like playing (I’m not a puzzler fan) that I still pushed through just to experience the storyline and that fucking unbelievable ending.

I think it’s time to admit that, as an experiment in non-corporate controlled social media, it seems that lemmy has failed… the “Power Tripping Mod” problem isn’t superficial - it’s fundamental.

ALL the money capitalists hoard is “other people’s money.” It literally belongs to the state that created it. Bill Gates “owns” as much money as I do - nada. None of the money he hoards belongs to him. It’s not “his” money - it never was.

The hoarding of “other people’s money” is literally what makes liberal oligarchy possible - without it, the capitalist mode of production becomes impossible.
