Running around bare foot in a work environment (especially on a ship) is objectively unprofessional for multiple reasons.

The same with break dancing in your chair.

Her having peoples respect doesn’t negate her unprofessionalism.

It doesn’t have to be 1 to 1 accuracy for me. All that matters is it makes sense for the scene / what’s been going on. If I’m particularly concerned something is being lost in translation I will compare it with the subs.

For the most part I’ve noticed poor translation dubs on the 1st episode of shows so just write it off as a bad dub and fully move to original audio and sub’s.

For me dubs depend on the show. Some shows have good to great dubs others have shit dubs.

It also depends on when I’m watching a show - I’m not gonna switch to dub halfway through when shows that didn’t have dubs when I started get them.

Of course. Amazon’s whole philosophy is to eliminate as many humans as possible.

Its just cheaper for Netflix to make its own reality trash than pay for someone else’s.

Been catching up on some dropout.tv shows.

Game Changer and Make Some Noise specifically, but all their stuff is good.

Watched the 3rd episode of Starfleet Academy - still can’t really recommend. There are things I like about it but more I’m just meh about and some I just don’t want at all (namely the lame teen drama).

Gina Yashere as Lura Thok and Tig Notaro as Jett Reno are definitely great. Paul Giamatti was fun, but who knows when he will next be seen. Not enough of The Doctor - I need more of him and some back story on what he’s been up to since the Voyager days.

Also been watching The Hunting Party. It’s kinda dumb, but still an enjoyable enough watch.

Holding off on Fallout Season 2 until it’s complete - it’s the type of show I need to watch 2-3 episodes at a time to fully enjoy.

I’m probably gonna continue with academy, but I think based off the 1st 2 episodes it’ll be an apathetic watch. I don’t hate it yet, but I’m not really enjoying it yet either.

It was a covid movie, and the execs did serious meddling.

Basically made a whole new movie from what it was supposed to be and the visual effects were supposed to be placeholders, but became the final ones due to those same execs.

Just a perfect storm of shit rolling downhill.

I’m down with them being the new Abbot & Costello.

They are just gonna double down in all likelihood.

I believe they did that for quite a few shows too.

I say less “kids” movie and more family movies.

Just about anything can give you cardiac arrest if you’re unhealthy.

Alternating hot and cold can actually be good.

It’s invigorating. - Have you never jumped from a hottub into a cold pool or vice versa?

I believe it can also help with soreness.

The Pitt. Can’t wait to see where this season goes. For anyone who needs a bit of a palate cleanser after the seriousness of it, may I recommend St. Denis Medical - It’s basically Superstore, but in a hospital.

I can’t actually recommended it yet, but I watched the 1st episode of Starfleet Academy. It seemed kinda mediocre to me (I could feel the CW vibes). Hopefully episode 2 can hook me.

Or it will turn out the butt plugs make a great field expedient for some piece of equipment that can’t easily be gotten by the soldiers in the field.

I enjoyed it, but I kept seeing Chad Powers instead of Glen Powell.
