I’ll add another recommendation for The Farseer trilogy by Robin Hobb, it is absolute peak storytelling imo

Robin Hobb’s books are my favorite series of all time, probably across all forms of media too, highly highly highly recommend

It’s obviously going to be way overpriced but if the rumored screen specs of the iPhone Fold are accurate, it could be remarkably one-hand-able with a 5.5" cover screen. And the extra thickness when it’s closed might make grip actually better than most phones today that are kinda annoyingly thin.

Sadly I would never switch to iPhone even though I would like a device like that theoretically.

I don’t have a bandwidth cap but my download speed is 40 Mbps max, soooo copying back and forth between HDD and SSD is way faster for me lol.

Plus, it doesn’t happen much (if ever) that a game gets delisted/removed, but I prefer having a local copy of game files for games I care about rather than trusting remote servers to always have it available.

See, I guess my problem is I never liked gboard’s swipe algorithms back when I used gboard. Cause man heliboard’s swiping with the gboard library really pisses me off sometimes lol

I wish there were a different gesture typing library to use… It makes so many annoying incorrect predictions.

I like Heliboard but its prediction can be wildly frustrating sometimes. At least when using a swipe library with it.

Seeing the initial new Marathon trailer might have been the most excited and then disappointed I’ve ever been with a game announcement. So excited for them to bring that franchise to the modern era, but so disappointed that it was just an extraction shooter. Ugh.

I definitely remember a lot of people whining about how long Infinite took to release, especially when it got delayed a full year, and then finally releasing after 6 years, it wasn’t even that good. The old 3 year cadence was pretty perfect imo, plenty of time for each game to have a good run before the next one, and not close enough together to cause fatigue.

Man why couldn’t there be a keyboard like this that also has swipe typing D: I miss the ctrl-like functions of the Swype logo button on the Swype keyboard so much, specifically the select all and the select-one-word abilities

The game has had real multiplayer for a long time, bud

What I really want from it is just a quick record shortcut that only captures the last minute or 3 like the consoles have. I don’t want to have to go back later and save it after marking it.

Maybe I’m in a minority here, but one feature I seriously never want to give up from my Samsung is motion photos. I know they’re silly but they capture sooooo many lovely moments with friends/family/pets.

He is my favorite Doctor and his series is tied with series 4 (Donna) as my favorite series of Who and i will die on that hill. I know I’m just one person but from my perspective, it seems like within the Who fandom most people at least like and respect Nine, and plenty of people do in fact really love him like I do. If he ever came back to the show onscreen in any capacity it would literally be the most hyped I’ve ever been for Doctor Who ever.

2 things can be true at the same time. In this case the science is good and accurate, and since we live in a capitalist hellscape, corporations will take advantage of the science at every opportunity.

Also, I want to own the proper high quality version of my movies. There’s such a noticeable difference between 4K streaming quality and 4K disc quality… if they stop making discs, there isn’t any website where movies are sold at that uncompressed quality level digitally.
