Perfect, thank you!
I currently use a plain old brown bound journal for occasional reflective writing and there’s something about the physical act of pen to paper that helps me calm down so this may be the way. I’ll check out the book.

Do you have any readings/resources you’d recommend on this?
Right now I’m using TickTick but I loaded it up with so many things, most of which will be abandoned and never cleaned up. Eventually my lists will get too messy and I’ll abandon the software. And the cycle continues lol

It’s only further deepening our world’s dependence on tech companies.
Once large swathes of infrastructure and services are being developed and maintained by AI driven development, now all those companies are dependent on AI. Now they function at the whim of the AI companies. It’s the same issue we’re running into with cloud service dependence.

I will never understand how people could be this rich and do stupid shit like this.
With all that money, you could go find the love of your life, travel the world with them, pay for all the mental and healthcare you need, be fit and live the rest of your life happily with your soulmate AND still even have the capacity to help others if you so desire.
But instead they do this shit. I hate reality.

Yep this is their playbook. It looks like the meta for the Information Age is to just overwhelm with random noise (information) even if it’s completely wrong or a lie. Which kind of checks out with their whole AI obsession since all these companies are banking on “AI doesn’t have to be right… it just has to seem right”

Ironically, my manager was someone who did very little “managing” and mostly did hands on work (I work IT), and he just got laid off.
Meanwhile all the leeches that spout BS metrics that are faulty are all still here. Idiots all around.

Based on what they showed in the demo, that’s not the PR. gpt made more changes than what’s in that PR and also modified a different transform function. My guess is they never actually pushed the actual commit from the demo or made a PR.

Honestly, Trump does seem to be the kind of idiot who would simp over Putin hoping for scraps only to get used.
Fuck that school, their behavior is what allows this kind of thing to continue and turns these asshole kids into asshole adults… and then we end up with modern day US.
Damn it now I want to see this too lol
Wow thank you for sharing. Her work is amazing.

Dude LSD in the water supply would be better than whatever the fuck is going on in this world right now

I doubt it, because he can just get his goons in the Supreme Court to change the ruling. It feels like these “judge blocks X” events are nearly meaningless. I mean they still do something but in a sane world… we wouldn’t be at this point.
Nah I wasn’t suggesting he’s innocent, I haven’t invested myself enough to form an opinion and the details seem murky and all over the place.
I was genuinely just curious if that could’ve been a South Park search lol.
And if it isn’t (and to your point, even if it is), why would someone technically savvy who knows they’re on probation and under surveillance perform that search?
Was he probing to look for alerts or flags that went off for risky searches? Was it someone else on his device messing with him? Was he just being cheeky? Was he being sketchy?
There’s too many possibilities and hence I’m not really suggesting he’s innocent or guilty.
Holy crap, I can’t believe someone would actually make an org with that name 🤦
Isn’t that search a reference to a South Park episode?
As a potato, I assure you I am not active

My take on this based on knowledge of the kinds of pieces of shit these people are and the fact that they specifically don’t want to fund childcare programs:
They want to pick and choose what families they want having more babies and they’re going to take your tax money and funnel it to those families. Essentially eugenics is probably their end goal.
The other thing with Stack Overflow answers, despite posters often being dicks, is that you got conversation on what the best method was and pros and cons of solutions, and you could ask clarifying questions and determine what the best solution was for your particular situation. And if someone had incorrect info, they’d often be corrected.
In that sense, if you’re a person who actually thinks through the answers you’re receiving, you can make good use of LLMs but the cost of LLMs (the strain on our planet’s resources) isn’t worth the trade off. You also lose something in terms of how your brain functions when you rely heavily on LLMs imo, because it becomes very easy to lose some good habits.
That said, if LLMs weren’t such a strain on the planet and weren’t tainted by corporate greed, I would love them as they are a great force multiplier for a worker that knows what they’re doing.
I love the idea of dumping stuff into Monday and then dealing with it when you get there.
I overscheduled myself out too much in advance and I never stick to that schedule, which adds to the feeling of failure/defeat. Especially for both my work and work style, I think dumping it somewhere (like the coming Monday) and then sorting it out when I get there may work better.
Appreciate your post!
