A lot of 2-star games today. There were some red herrings that must’ve thrown folks. Good job on the Stack!
Luck has nothing (maybe a little) to do with it.
A streak is any puzzle completed, so a 0 star game adds to your streak the same that a 5 star does. You have a separate star tally under the streak.

19·15 days agoI appreciate not being told when to laugh, but to laugh when I think something is funny. I’m 10 minutes into the show and I have only chuckled, but this is a genius ploy, well written and perfectly executed. All things considered, no notes.
As with all comedy, it exists within context. So far, this is solid.
Edit: now that they are huffing helium, I am genuinely laughing.
Another trick is: if there is only one of a letter on the board (like today, one X and one Y), you can go ahead and move the letter to its spot once you solve the word. You don’t have to wait to strategize a double-green swap. This can help you move faster on the puzzle.
I’m at 355 and I still haven’t created an account to save my streak.
Every streak begins with 1.

You sly dog.
Tons of “false positives” in this one. The streak starts again!
You have to solve a few words before you start moving any pieces to try to maximize the number of double-green swaps. Any time you figure out a double-green, go ahead and do it - it will never keep you from getting the full 5 stars.
A trick is: if there is only one of a letter on the board, you can always put it in place without worrying about a double-green swap. Often times it opens up a chance for a double-green later.
Hope that helps.
The words and definitions are below once the game is over, but I don’t think they show up in the puzzle. Good luck today.
Give him the stick, give him the stick. DON’T GIVE HIM THE STICK!

Not a ton of similar letters which I think makes the puzzle easier.
