Are you going to delete this post too?

Reading the document I linked, it seems the prevailing philosophy is, “What is the LEAST we can do to prevent traffic deaths?” They want to find dangerous streets and intersections and then maybe step up police enforcement, which does nothing. We need infrastructure change. Since they’ve started their project, traffic deaths have doubled, which, you know, maybe is a sign that their approach does not work.
But maybe the idea is just so the city can pretend to care without having to burn any political capital pissing off the auto autocracy.

I dehydrated my milk and I’m left with brownish granules that refuse to dissolve even in boiling water. Hm.

This is apparently part of a comprehensive plan to bring traffic deaths to 0.

Conspiracies are real, but nobody ever believes the real ones.

Kind of rambling.

What the hell man. Who is still funding this bubble?

Sounds like an amazing solution! Unfortunately, like with almost every way to try to control dangerous driving, it will probably lead to more deaths because dangerous drivers will now be running the reds.

The clowns run the circus now, so who am I to say he’s not a viable candidate?

I don’t know what credibility means anymore.

He was just on Bill Maher (to be clear: which I know not because I listen to Bill Maher, but because I listen to I Hate Bill Maher) denying he was running for office; maybe this was the purpose of his media blitz.

Turn over at Amazon warehouses is about 100%/year.
They’re going to have to figure something out because they are going to have cycled through the entire working population soon.

If NYC can get a handle on illegal police violence and concomitant payouts, they can probably free up some money to give to surviving first responders.

Yeah, style is cool, but this also attracts the attention of the ATF, gives prosecutors more charges to tack on, and does nothing to eliminate any more cameras. Dressing like Zorro would do none of those things.

Just think the levels of corruption that must be happening on the federal level, where Trump can fire any investigators and ultimately pardon any criminal.

People who control content-sites like Pinterest don’t need to wait for the bubble to pop. They should see their eyeball count dropping precipitously the more AI content they have, and the fewer eyeballs means the less value the site has. But capitalism has trouble seeing past the next quarter.

The only thing worth a damn is genuinely human-created content, but only because you can sell it to train AI which produces only negative value.
We are in dire need of a market correction.
