Simple Living@slrpnk.net•Reupload: "Dumbphone Owners Have Lost Their Minds", this is the original title of the Wired article, personally I don't think so
1·15 天前De rien ! (You’re welcome!)
I find there is a need for digital minimalism in simple living. Or at least to not keep with the digital maximalism that is pushed to us in today society.
Guess what? I did proof read it but it seems like I forgot every I learn at school. I tried to correct myself and failed… I just deleted the whole thing. English is too hard and I’m not assuming anything.
Ans sometime it is also the grocerie. Not the avocado toast but the rebought avocado because the other ones grew old at the back of the fridge. The leftover going straight to the garbave even thought there is always a serving or two cooked extra. The little treats bought to ourselves every time we go out.
Still not people in poverty but people that can’t both never been bothered spending and build a emergency funds.

7·21 天前I hate YouTube. Why would someone start a “description” with an ad that has nothing to do with descripting the video? If you know decluttering, or simple living, content creators on the fediverse, please let me know.

2·22 天前Thank you for sharing.
That’s brave to keep a simple lifestyle when fame and money suddently come.
Really, the joys of life are very simple. Having a couple of cats around the house, a quiet life, dabbling in watercolors and woodblock printing . . .
He’s one of us (^_^)

Simple Living@slrpnk.net•The FlyLady method is great to teach people who to manage their house but also for people who need to automate the way they maintain it in a way that simplying their life and reduce mental charge.
2·24 天前I have mess things up even more. At this point, I fear that deleting the whole thing we’ll cause further troubles… Sorry. I’ll try to do something prettier next time.

2·24 天前I have messed up the title and have no idea how to edit it (-_-)
I was about to crosspost this to !superbowl@lemmy.world when I realised I was already there.
Thank you for sharing.

Simple Living@slrpnk.net•15 Simple Living Tips for Less Stress and More Freedom
3·29 天前I disagree. The article could have been more brief but I found every point to be good. Simplifying your wardrobe to pieces you do wear and you could wear together doesn’t make it boring – I speak from experience, but more practical.
Routines and automation are also very good. They reduce greatly mental load and help physically to manage efficiently tasks that always come back.
I don’t really agree with the idea of “saying no to social situation for your own good” but I guess it could be useful to people in an overly extrovert culture that tend to overbook and exhaust themselves, especially if the activities they do are payed ones. That advice doesn’t fit in my life at all but maybe in someone else.
EDIT: spelling errors

2·1 个月前Maître here means “Teacher” than “Master”. It is still an honorific but it means more on the proverbial wisdom of an owl.

2·2 个月前I’ll pass the message to my relative. But funny thing. In French, the character is called “Maître Hibou”. So not tawny but I’m not even sure if I read the books.
