We are also ace- and aro- spec, so don’t direct sexual or romantic things at us. Even if it’s meant as non-romantic or non-sexual just don’t say we are loved or you love us etc.
Don’t call yourself any familial (dad, mum etc) words at us, it is extremely traumatic for us.

3·3 days agoWe understand and accept that it’s difficult. Just wanted to make you aware as it disgusted us viscerally after the things they’ve said and done.
1·3 days agoNo, research suggests that mentally ill people are more likely to be the victims of people like this rather than the perpetrators. This person is likely fine mentally.
We understand the desire to separate one/many’s self/selves from people like this but that’s just playing right into their hands.
Truth is anybody can become like this, and pretending otherwise is not going to keep it from happening.
Yep, that and their transphobia in the past makes us not want to see shit like that.

From what we understand allosexuals (people who are not ace-spec) are not in fact attracted to everyone :). Maybe many people, but not all the people and not always.
However, even if they were that’s not a bad thing, as long as it’s consensual and respectful :)

Not all asexuals are sex repulsed, it just means not being sexually attracted to others either all the time or some of the time (unless preconditions are met in the case of demisexuals or grey-asexuals). Us ace-spec people can and do have sex if we aren’t always repulsed, just not always for attraction reasons.

We think that most folks in fedi don’t particularly care for facebook, nor alternatives for it. We might be incorrect and a dedicated app might change that, but that’s the feeling we get for now.

Oh, We do sometimes. We just find the interface here more familiar for now. We should switch over more, even though we disagree with some of the piefed dev’s choices in the code.
