So, they already are optional. It’s just that there are consequences for choosing that option (can’t get into public schools), and Republicans hate consequences. Except, dying from measles, or getting paralyzed by polio, are also consequences.

I’m beginning to think that this is really just a ploy to make public schools unsafe, so that people that can afford it shift to for profit private schools, which of course will be allowed to continue to require vaccines.

Don’t reverse engineer anything. Do as your told and “just put this in” and deploy it. Everything will break and management will explode, but now you’ve demonstrated that they can’t just replace you with AI.

Now explain what you’ve been doing (reverse engineering to figure out their requirements), but that you’re not going to do that anymore. They need to either give you proper requirements so that you can write properly working code, or they give you AI slop and you’re just going to “put it in” without a second thought.

You’ll need your whole team on board for this to work, but what are they going to do, fire the whole team and replace them with AI? You’ll have already demonstrated that that’s not an option.

Where are you getting that information? The article very clearly indicates that this happened on Jan 20, 2026, and there’s no date that I see visible in the video (in the article).

I think you mean more blurred, not less.

A less blurred line would be more distinct, providing a stronger, more obvious separation between the two.

A more blurred line is fuzzier, making it more difficult to tell where one ends and the other starts.
