I was hit by a car from behind in my early twenties. I sprung up after the impact to look for the person I was walking with. I had a few scrapes and a deeper cut in my arm but nothing that I even noticed for a few minutes. The next day is when that kind of impact gets you. For weeks after, taking an elevator or riding a bus would hurt. It took months to take any running steps. I feel really bad for this girl, it’s a big deal even if she’s walked it off at the time.

Yeah I first heard this as a kid in the 90s. Jokes get recycled a lot.

Personally, the customisability without the effort. You get a hundred bells and whistles to make your phone look and feel unique, things that stock android should really provide but doesn’t.

Probably not too impractical owing to the fact that you probably aren’t allowed to do jack shit yourself. It’s not like you can tow it from the depot to the station with your f150. Much easier than owning a boat :) presumably just as pricey though and with even less utility

Kids, when thrown into a new language environment, will learn it reasonably well in short order and can become perfectly fluent in a year, give or take. It really isn’t such a big deal. Mind you, these aren’t kids from halfway across the continent, they are kids born and raised in Estonia so it’s not like they’re starting from scratch.
