My personal recommendation that has been working for me (although there are other options that for some people might be better)

NewPipe for videos

Metrolist for music and podcasts

Librewolf does that by default, among other things. And as thanksforallthefish mentioned, in settings you can whitelist some pages to prevent cookie deletion, if you want to remain logged in.

Sorry if these are stupid questions, but how safe is to use these apps? Can we get into trouble if we use them without a VPN?

LibreWolf is a fork from Firefox. It is a much better alternative for privacy, and deletes cookies by default. You can also configure which pages you want to maintain cookies, e.g. for automatic login (if that’s something you want)
