That’s amazing! I wonder if the patients will have to get more insulin-producing cells transplanted every few years, or if this is a “one and done” type of deal?
In any case, an autologous cell transplant every ≥3 years or so is a vast improvement over the current situation for type 2 diabetes
It’s pointing out situations where the trope/stereotype falls apart.
No, it’s misdirection – where the landlord got their money from doesn’t make a whit of difference.
It’s nearly as ridiculous as asking “well if the slave owner got their loan from a credit union, then it’s all those evil working class credit union members profiting?” It’s a non-sequitur. You can go off about how much you know about credit unions all you want, it’s got fuck-all to do with landlords.
Rent-seeking behaviour doesn’t magically turn good if you got your initial capital from some “good” source
And if the person’s got their mortgage from a Credit Union… then its… all those evil working class credit union members profiting?
Are you actually this obtuse or is this a bad faith argument?

The world needs to know

Half of it is just him whining about leftists ruining everything

When is that man not flailing
deep in
meditationmasturbation
Dutch rudder
What are we, frickin barbarians? Just grab that junk

Reminder that the word “homeowner” is the only English word with the word “meow” in it (except for all the different derivations of “meow” like “meowing” etc of course)

And I committed the cardinal sin of being a foreigner – in order to criticise the US I apparently need to be able to hand-feed them a solution to the mess they themselves created

But why is saying this out loud such a taboo? I regularly get downvoted to hell for saying that there’s a real danger the midterms might get rigged in some states. Or is the problem – like one commenter seemed to imply – pointing it out but not coming up with concrete ideas on how to fix it?

“Certainly paid for by fascists”, lol.
How dare I say that Americans should fix their own fucking problems instead of whining about how everybody is being mean and not telling them how to fix them

Certainly a Russian troll for suggesting you Americans get your own shit together instead of whining that the rest of the world won’t tell you how to fix things.
Because Gaza and Palestine are definitely the same as the US. Excellent analogy, only something an American could have come up with – Israel committing genocide in Gaza is the same as Americans voting for fascists

Ah, so you’re upset that others won’t tell you how to fix your problems? Vastly different, yes

I’m upset about commenters showing up and telling us we gotta do something, but offering no advice as to what to do.
You’re upset that others won’t fix your problems for you?

Yeah, we’re getting downvoted for daring to point out in a comment that what Trump said in the post I linked to might not be great for election security

And that he wants Republicans in some of those states to “take over the voting”.

Pointing out that in several states the US midterms might not exactly be free and open seems to really get a lot of resistance from Americans. Many seem like they really don’t even want to think about it, and would just rather keep believing that the midterms will solve everything
Oh yeah I don’t doubt that you folks will get fucked over by your oligarchy, one way or another
