This episode was what I was hoping for out of this show. The first episode was such whiplash that I’m glad it is settling down. This episode we got a cool character study that had actual impact. Cool lore that made sense. Characters had long one on one conversations. Parallel storytelling with the debate. Maybe even the hint of a natural progressing gay romance? All storylines mattered. Good job Modern Trek!
I agree. I think Jaden spoke about it pretty well that it’s about understanding their language and culture. Earning a hunt vs being gifted it.

Local spoke about their need to do this and use code names to avoid being followed and harassed by ICE after attending a protest. Probably shouldn’t have done that on a televised city council meeting. But also, Americans have a right to free speech and organized protest. Dark times.

There is a deep setting on iOS for full encryption of everything. It can make it harder to retrieve your things if you forget your password but that’s exactly what you want here.

Checking Reddit during major events it is so bizarre how hollow it is now. It feels so redacted and full of chipper bots. It takes going to special interests subreddits to get to any semblance of realness. Looking at digg today felt the same way, like a mining system for marketing analytics or product pushes
Fujifilm just came out with a modern toy camera. Fujifilm Instax evo cinema or something like that. Not quite what you are looking for but may be worth a search. Depending on your smartphone an SD to usb C could take the photos of any camera and you could upload from the phone.
I wasn’t trying to imply the gun safety thing will make a difference in the current atmosphere. Just that pressuring and changing local government helps and is something to do. Idk man.
I’m from a suburb of Minneapolis. Civil engagement is a good way to go. Recent events (shootings) got people to get our city council to figure out what they could do for gun safety. ICE hasn’t touched our wealthy suburb yet, though. There hasn’t been a city meeting since Renee Good, as well. Next city council meeting will be 🔥
