Everywhere I lived that had mail in voting had local ballot drop boxes and would update your ballot status the same day. You would get an email if it was accepted or not which was pretty cool. But I also haven’t lived in those crappy vOtEr iD 4 iTeGrItY states

Travel@crazypeople.online•anyone else eat raw red meat, either in your country or while traveling?English
3·11 days agoNaw the raw egg was on the side, like some kind of raw deconstructed meatloaf. I guess one is supposed to dip it? US food requirements could explain the issue, it sounds like Germany has really strict regulations for Mett and Hekapeter.

5·12 days agoYes it came with brown bead, a raw egg, and some veggies (which I assume were garnish because they were cut into flowers to match the hedgehog I guess). Like most German food it was pretty low on the spice. I got to really get a good taste for the meat and it wasn’t too fragrant nor was it slimy for being raw. The bread a beer paired nicely with the raw pork, 8/10.

9·12 days agoI was told to try Hackepeter while in Germany. It is interesting because there are few places willing to serve ground raw pork. Even fewer would that decide that shaping it like a porcupine (complete with pretzel stick spines) would make it cute.
Honestly not too much. Autism is kind of like being in a niche fandom, you only get pegged by others already in it. Otherwise, you’re just “odd”

9·2 months agoSo quick question, have you been tested for sleep apnea? It’s been fairly common with my friends and they claim that the machine helps, just a thought if you haven’t been screened for it yet.

Looks good. I am not sure how you would use the Cynar in this, but would love your thoughts. I personally would just swap the cucumber for a tajin rim.

Ask@piefed.social•What skill do you have which you never use?
2·7 months agoWhich is why I was sooooo grateful that my professors helped get me my first internship outside of academia. Most of my job moves afterwards have been through connections I made at working so it was critical for my career to get started.

Ask@piefed.social•What skill do you have which you never use?
6·7 months agoOoof that’s a tough question. It’s technically an engineering degree, so I was under the assumption that I would actually use it in my day to day. I just unwittingly stumbled back ass-ward into a completely unrelated technical field, so yeah. At least that fine piece of paper did its job and got me the connections I needed to be employed.

3·7 months agoI am really happy to see Peak on there. It’s a silly multiplayer, but the gameplay forces some cooperation and the voice chat function works really well.

For me it was lack of structure, so what got me going was actually scheduling a class. Then the obligation would kick in because I made the commitment. Even better if it’s a regularly occurring class because then people will start to recognize you and take note if you missed. Which re-enforces the cycle!
