While I don’t disagree I think it’s important to keep in mind that kids and teenagers aren’t stupid - they are capable of understanding that you shouldn’t allow a bad person to continue to be a bad person if you have a conversation about why what JKR is doing is bad. Most of the vocal pushback that I’ve experienced offline has actually come from teenagers.

The problem lies squarely with millennial parents who continue to buy books/movies/games/merch for themselves or their young children because of nostalgia. They are old enough to know better, and should be held responsible for their actions.

The reason is simple: she’s a bigot. She has been successful at pushing her transphobic agenda into UK law, and she will continue to move across the spectrum because hate only knows how to hate even when they succeed.

This is exactly the reason I’m shifting from just warning people that buying her shit is immoral so outright calling them bigots for supporting bigotry. If they don’t want to be bigots they can stop giving her their goddamn money.

I won’t stop protesting until we make actual progress. Trump/Musk out of office, and constitution amended to prevent this dumpster fire from ever happening again. Not until people can afford places to live, and food to eat. Not until health care is guaranteed for all, not just for those who can afford it.

We can’t stop just because the government changes over. We deserve better.

I do not understand why people are crazy for eggs. I haven’t purchased eggs since the pandemic and I’m not even vegan.

Back when I did buy eggs it was because I had a single recipe that needed them, and then I would struggle to finish the carton before they went off. Now I just don’t bother and replace eggs in baking with a lentil replacement mix. It’s so nice to have several dozens of eggs worth of mix in a small bag that’s shelf stable.

Yeah, as an ex GS employee - GS does not have the profit margins on new games to do a sale like that on new games. Only used games get put on buy two get one sales, and those can be returned.

Also like… How old is this post? Even when I worked at GS years ago parents knew what CoD was. The first CoD came out in 2003 it is not the kind of obscure that parents would ask about.

I am personally very disinterested in using bikes to collect data. That’s one of the benefits of traveling via bike - that the manufacturer can’t just track you and everyone around you!
