Yeah a lot are waiting for it. But the device is 6+ months away. Most phones wouldn’t be discussed that early. I think with this company being new to the market and small they do need the cash flow of the preorders to make it happen. I would think very differently of say, Samsung doing this.

Honestly don’t worry too much about it. Lemmy has more users, has been around a lot longer. A new update (1.0) is coming soon that’ll add a bunch of stuff. It’s a perfectly valid choice, (so is Piefed) and we’re glad to see you on the fediverse either way!

I’ve definitely noticed some anti-piefed sentiment in the past week or so. But before that it seemed mostly vocal Piefed users against Lemmy.

Actually I just got my payment from an Apple class action about Siri triggering during private conversations.

It was $40 which was kinda crazy high for such a broad class action.
