Also, I constantly see “They don’t wanna tell their parents/the police? Must be fake” ooooor they could be too scared to tell their parents because they would be victim-blamed or punished for it and can’t tell the police without the parents finding out.

You know what, I get your point with some of these people. I don’t think someone should be beaten up, though, for wanting to use the restroom of the gender they identify as instead of the one assigned to them at birth.
