My best buddy is hard core 2A, not full right wing but he tows the line. He’s literally been preparing for this exact scenario the past 15 years of his life. When I ask him about this he says “there’s two sides to every story” then he spits out the same drivel they all spew. I told him the problem is that he and the rest of the 2A folks are just as afraid as the rest of us. They just don’t want to admit it. Probably more afraid, because I haven’t been building a small arsenal the past few years. All those guns, ammo, and fancy gear for what? It’s fucking cosplay. A nerdy hobby. Like model trains but these 2A cunts all act like a tough guy that’ll lay down the law if push comes to shove. Well we are being shoved. What now? At least take the guns to a protest so they can get some fresh air. Are these 2A folks afraid their guns might get dirty or something?

I really enjoyed The Blackcoat’s Daughter and I thought Longlegs was pretty good. Other than those two I haven’t seen anything else he has directed. Overall I feel like he is a good director. I wasn’t blown away by his films but I was definitely entertained throughout.

I would absolutely categorize Control as a metroidvania game. It has all the characteristics of one. I know some debate it because it’s so combat focused but aside from that it checks all the Metroidvania boxes.

There will be more than a few that will gladly sacrifice themselves for their great leader.

This is totally it. They are preparing JD to take over the party after Trump, but it’s hard to do that when he’s married to the exact type of person the base dislikes.

Unfortunately the major outlets that claim to be more left are really just right wing lite, and at the end of the day they are still part of the propaganda machine.

The right wing media is just waiting for the handful of police reports to come in from the weekend to fixate upon, and talk about non stop, so they can make that “violent uprising” a reality for their viewers.

They are not all dangerous. Most are just ignorant. Sometimes willfully so. They have been conditioned to never even think about questioning the rules, so they never had that moment where they thought “wait none of this makes any sense”. We should be more compassionate towards these folks. Most of them are not bad people they are just incapable of questioning their place in the universe.

Let’s deport their asses to a country they’ve never been to.
