Yes. 25% of U.S. citizens linguistically means 25% of all U.S. citizens. They don’t need to specify alive, because they had to be alive inorder to participate. It is not dishonest in this case because they (the original study) listed the date the survey was conducted and didn’t not try to portray an old study as modern.

The only thing needed is to add ‘surveyed’ after the descriptor. Anything else is dishonest.

25% of 800 U.S. citizens surveyed is not indicative of the entire country. Not only that, the original study release here (as far as I could find) doesn’t state how or where the survey was conducted.

A survey done in California would be wildly different than one done in Mississippi. That article and this post are ethically dishonest, and the study proves absolutely nothing.

The downvotes in my original comment are because of the two party system destroying people’s objectivity and reverting them back to tribalism. In other terms, democrats and republicans do not like facts.

The term “cherry-picked” isn’t applicable here since it implies I’m leaving out context or other information, but you already had context (the comments doing the opposite of defending), I simply showed you what you claimed to not see.

Pardoning family members is corrupt plain and simple. Justifying those actions based on the actions of others does not make it any less corrupt.

Loosing your ethical integrity in an effort to “get even” only favors extremists who do not care about a country. I suggest everyone reading this take an objective look at the situation and see where we’re headed.
