Public transport is pretty good in Switzerland. We once wanted to go from Konstanz (Germany) to Buchs, and there were to be four connections, each with only a few minutes between them. We were sure that would never work out because here in Germany, trains are almost never in time. We were pretty amazed with how punctual the Swiss trains were, and we had no problems at all.
