The famine during the great leap forward wasn’t due to communist policy though? It was due to China being a backward country thanks to the century of humiliation (caused by capitalism) leading to lacking the necessary technical knowledge (there’s a reason it was the last famine China ever had).
No, this isn’t accurate. Only pro-communist propaganda tries to downplay the horrendous Maoist agricultural policies and general economic mismanagement.
The actual reasons for the famine in reality were natural causes mixed with agricultural plans made with poor agronomic knowledge due to the backwardness of the country coming from the century of humiliation and a degree of poor reporting tradition held over from the feudal and landlord years.
So the communists played no part in it?
Also capitalism isn’t when there is trade or when there is markets.
True, but you can’t have markets and trade under communism.
The Chinese Socialist market economy is exactly that socialist,
The Democratic people’s Republic of Korea is exactly that…
and the poverty gains during reform and opening up were built on the foundation created by Chairman Mao and would have otherwise been impossible.
Source?
You could also look at your question in reverse, when the USSR transitioned to capitalism poverty skyrocketed, life expectancy plunged and by every metric human suffering increased.
Really? Just like how infant mortality spiked when Tsarist Russia was taken over by the communists?
(P.s. you really shouldn’t use Wikipedia for information on China especially regarding political or sensitive events you’d get an equally honest answer if you asked the CIA)
Be more paranoid please.

Thanks for the honest answer.
I personally understand why people don’t want to demolish a system from which they prosper and within which they enjoy a high living standard.

I have heard about this example of course, but there are two issues with using this one:

The US is certainly the most influential of the Americas. When people refer to “America” they mean USA. When people say “North America” they mean USA and Canada, even though Mexico is technically part of North America. I am neither American, nor part of the Americas. I just find it funny that people have been using term for centuries and some nationalist Mexicans and south Americans are just now getting upset about it.

I said America, not “the Americas”.
I’d rather see someone remake these old games so that the maximum object count can be raised. Just played a ROM of Link to the Past on SNES and the game crawls to a halt in some areas because the engine has to render several objects moving at once…

*In America.

Well hidden cameras are a great tool for the under privileged to record systematic oppression by law enforcement and other agents in society.

Sure, meta and Zuck the cuck are horrible, but the idea of hidden cameras has got utility.

Sorry, I only date physically attractive and emotionally stable individuals.

So why are people being so butt-hurt about this specific device? Is it all because it is connected to Meta?

Go fuck yourself.

Holy fuck you just can’t stop engaging with “insane” people can you? All that yapping and still no answer to a simple question.

Run away coward.

Can you tell me why I am insane or are you just going to retreat into your safety blanket of drugs because reality got too real?

I don’t share your views on trans people so I’m not bothering with it.
What do you mean “views on trans people”? I am pro trans, but against the idea that a biologically male individual has access to spaces reserved for biological females. Aren’t you?
To your question about bodycams for the public, if the camera is obvious what it is, in plain sight and has a visual notification to say when it’s recording, then that’s fine.
So the pigs can adjust their behavior accordingly? How does boot leather actually taste?
The real issue this post is about, is people bringing meta glasses that are indistinguishable from other Ray bans into places where people have the right to privacy, it’s about the violation of privacy with technology.
Which places are these? What places of privacy exist where men and women can co-mingle? I don’t know of many co-ed dressing rooms, shower facilities etc. in America, but sure, ban smart glasses from these.
Most of the cases of people recording women I have seen have been in public. You agree that this shouldn’t be illegal in one party consent states right?

They are far more affordable. The road work alone required to install the bollards is more expensive than a basic camera set up and retractable bollards also need digital infrastructure and maintenance
