Probably in a similar category as lutefisk in Norway. I like it, but I realize it’s an acquired taste.

True. I remember visiting El Paso a decade ago.
There was a starbucks in viewing distance from the hotel but the only way to get there was by car. The fact that taking a short walk to get my morning coffee was not possible seemed absurd.
And this kept happening. Walking anywhere was just not a thing there.
Yep. I have an acquaintance like that. His special interests are conspiracy theories and racism. It’s exhausting to be around that.

Exactly. AAA is supposed to be pushing the standard forward and compete for my attention by making a better product.
If i can get an equally good or better game for less money i will obviously go for that.
Obviously most circumsised people have no issues with their dicks. And a lot probably sees it as a positive. I have heard a people claim that they look better.
Doing plastic surgery on babies is still a bit weird to me.
Not having kids is one of my greater regrets in life. Unfortunately i never had a stable enough life situation to make that choice.
I really want a large electric station vagon, or even better an electric camper with decent range.
Hopefully its just a few years away.

I remember one article trying to drum up sympathy for one Israeli solider. He apparently got PTSD from running over people with a military grade bulldozer all day long.
We are living in absurd times.

So, I’m I to assume that you wanted to say that calories are more important than food quality?
Sure. I agree with that.
Regarding your careful choice of words. If you wanted to make a convoluted post in order to smugly debate some random person on the internet, then you have done an excellent job and I congratulate you sir.
If you are trying to actually communicate clearly then you have some improvements to make.

Well, the smugness is impressive. I’ll have to give you that.
You specifically said: “in other words, america could be totally healthy eating the exact same food if we built society around people living healthy lives, but that is far from the primary goal for a country living under capital.”
I just disagree with this statement. I don’t think we could eat the exact same diet in a different society and expect food-related health issues to significantly improve.
So where on the list of causes would you place calorie intake, food quality and inactivity? Secondary? Tertiary? Completely unrelated?

I slightly disagree.
If I suddenly started eating 15000 kcal of mostly sugar and fat each day, it would have a detrimental impact on my health. Regardless of my education or income.
So to me it seems like the effect is in reverse. If we changed society to make it easier for people to make healthier choices, then the general health would improve. But the actual improvement would come from calorie intake, food quality and activity levels.
But I absolutely agree that having limited access to healthy food, and living in a area where walking could be unsafe makes it incredibly hard to be healthy.
You can definitely grind. It’s not necessary for beating the game, but it’s helpful.
But I’m just halfway through my first run, so I’m not a expert. But it’s definitely a good replacement for Diablo so far.
I can recommend Grim Dawn if you haven’t played it yet.

That’s horrible. Why would anyone think that co2 is in any way an acceptable way of taking a life?
I guess it’s slightly more efficient than just putting your pets in an airtight container. But still pretty awful.

Agreed. Its really annoying since i love the Paperwhite. But I just don’t trust Amazon as a company.

I have also recently started reading the culture series. Its great.
Sorry about that. Health safety and environment.
Paying for the service is fine.
But I would prefer to see the amount I’m expected to pay before I choose to purchase that product or service.
I know I can bust out the calculator, but that feels pretty annoying.
