Well, I went from my pebble time to a garmin fenix, as it was the closest to a pebble as I could find. I don’t use half the features it has because I didn’t want them, but the physical hardware still adds battery drain and size to it, which isn’t desirable, and makes even the 42mm size an absolute unit on my wrist. Also, it was multiple times the cost of what the pebble is. A current gen one with the MIP display is almost a grand - discounting the amoled/microled models as they’ve got an unacceptably short battery life.
The pebble is simple, only does what it needs to, and is indeed cheaper than any equivalent models out there. I’m absolutely looking forward to my new PT2 arriving

The lack of “features” IS the selling point. It does only what a smartwatch should, its not another phone on your wrist but rather just a device that informs you what’s going on with the phone you’re already carrying and lets you do some limited control of the phone from your wrist, and lasts forever between charges, as a smartwatch should.

Thats not just an extra smol kitten. Thats an illegally smol kitten!
The ship name is “The Galaxy” and its in Koh Chang. Not important enough for a wiki article it seems, but a fair number of articles on it out there.

Using graphineos on a pixel fold, only complaints is that the taskbar isn’t editable like it is in stock android, and sometimes it does not enable the inner screen when I unfold it, but only when full screen stuff is open. Close it and it works fine.
Super small nitpicks overall. Everything else works as expected for me.

“May be” and “could” aren’t necessarily intrepretations of the spec.
An in shape MTB rider puts out 200-250w. This is still 4-5x what a human can do. Its going to cause an increase in damage to trails, and vastly increase the rate of accidents - both of the rider and others.
I rarely to never see people on “ebikes” show up to repair trails where I live, but they’re always on the trails…

Theres a sort of replacement out there, closed source, nvidia only (AMD might come later though)
Still sucks they’re ripping WMR out. My G2 was awesome for the 150$ I spent on it.

Well, 1000w is larger than 750w so it does not matter where you are, its still above the limit.

I’ve yet to see one of these motors on an ebike, but thats certainly a perfect market for this system, far more so than calling itself an eMTB

Give it a few weeks and some eastern European wizard will find a way to unlock it with ease and make it available to the masses
Personally i just drill holes in my ECU to install weatherproof connections to the BDM port so I can fiddle around with it myself in WinOLS. quite the learning curve though.

With the power these amflow units put out, they aren’t bikes. They’re more e-moto with Pedals that act as a thumb throttle.
So this market didn’t need to be “broken open”. People will be out there with their e-motos in places where they aren’t allowed, and will end up in more access being closed off to bikers in general.

Pinion has a MGU, not sure why they opted for the rear hub motor. Had this used the MGU, I’d have put in a preorder…

I would extend this to a proper thickness grade cracker crust. Miss me with that 1mm thick stuff that just gets wet and nasty. Give me that 5mm thick goodness thats just the right level of moist. Not dry, but not wet.

Only one of my cars has earned a name, otherwise its just "that shitbox"or “the daily”
My blue VW Golf project car I’m always tweaking, modifying and breaking because I’m not a mechanic, thus it often forgets how to car, and it has black and yellow accents. So it’s been christened “Dory”
Objectively incorrect. Salads are actually a subset of nachos.

In HCOL areas, 150k/yr can be barely above poverty level. (See SF as an example, poverty income for a single earner is ~118k USD)
Given the number of those kind of areas, and the cost of rent now, it makes perfect sense.
1.7K SEK is about 154€ EUR or 180$ USD.
So its not insane money. Still a bit, but not as bad as it may seem.

As a T1D, im well aware, I keep on top of those studies in the hopes that one day there is a viable option for even a partial “cure”.
There’s a bevy of things to point about why the above suggestion was silly, yours is certainly just as valid as well.
Left side of the 24 pin power connector. Definitely AI, which is ironic.
