It takes the death penalty off the table.

I always liked the Linux ones over Windows. No random bullshit depending on who made the drivers, just a solid set of options.
Could do with being prettier through.
Their family probably came to Taiwan after the Japanese invasion.
Japan was notoriously brutal to the indigenous population, but most of the people in Taiwan came there in the civil war.
In fact, stamping out the indigenous culture has been an ongoing part of the post civil war Taiwanese government, and it’s only recently that the Taiwanese language has been allowed to be taught in schools.
Congrats, the game is now non-finite (you can just keep drawing forever).

What are the odds on Clarence Thomas being found doing some truly heinous things in the Epstein files, refusing to step down, and publishing an opinion that the founders really wanted Trump to become God-KKKing of the US?

Turns out Wolverine’s healing factor is just free healthcare.
Nah, you can actually see some of them developing AI psychosis.
You’ve got to understand that most AI execs aren’t technical people, they’re hype men. And LLMs are weirdly good at hype and the illusion of technical correctness. So they don’t have a problem with it.
Sam Altman saying he uses chatgpt to tell him how to act with his baby is one of the things he’s said I actually believe. Of course he’s also a got a team of nannies he couldn’t be bothered to mention, but the trust for chatgpt is there.
It’s also the font on the pop-ups, and the AI logo.
There’s a very generic style of Facebook cartoon that these things absolutely nail.

Yeah, but this is a legitimate concern in the US.
In most of the world, safety checks for cars include making sure that they are safe enough for people outside the car. There are rules about crumple zones and sharp edges, that effect how they hit pedestrians, and what they can do to other cars.
You can’t drive a cyber truck in Europe or the UK. In the US, it’s a free for all.
If you want smaller cars/trucks back on the road, you need to copy the safety laws from countries where people drive small cars.

If they’re going to name a memorial center after him, shouldn’t he be dead?

I’d love to give ACT ago. Already got Blasphemous which is great.
No, you just use a standard technique like word2vec.
Basically words are considered similar (and embedded to nearby locations in a high dimensional space) if they are likely to be used in the same context.
And because slurs are used to indicate that you don’t like someone, they tend to occur in the same kind of context.
So they’re all very similar. This is actual natural language processing being used, but it’s a shit post and the graphics aren’t very clear.

No one uses the word gaol in the UK.
We say prison instead. Occasionally jail but that’s more common as a verb and not a noun.

Terry Prattchet did this really well with gnomes.
The problem is this: there are many jobs in the city for which a gnome is equally (or in some cases more) competent, such as rat-catching (as detailed above) and watch-making, as their small hands make them ideal for performing intricate work. As money is generally paid for the amount of work done, gnomes are invariably paid the same for doing these jobs as a human or dwarf would. However, as a gnome is much smaller than a human or a dwarf, the money will stretch further. For example, a dollar might buy a loaf of bread. To a human or dwarf, that is two or three meals. To a gnome, the same loaf of bread is food for a week and can also be hollowed out to provide emergency accommodation.
Bragging rights and improved sleeping ability from the knowledge that the devs are being supported.
The serious answer is it’s often easier for people in a company to buy a license key than it is for them to arrange a donation to the devs. So this is an easy way to make small donations.

So why can’t America sell weapons to Ukraine forever?
I thought this was the American dream. Make loads of money while other people die somewhere far away.

Also not to be confused with tower bridge which is the one everyone that doesn’t live in London calls London bridge.

Yeah, market.
Like a literal old fashioned market. You pay to put your stall out and in exchange you get customers in a well regulated and run place.
Don’t like it? Don’t pay.

The coffee has always been bad.
The coffee is burnt, the milk is thin and overcooked, and this has just been a constant part of the experience forever.
What’s really changed is there’s other places to compare with, and it’s now obvious what coffee can taste like and where to go if you want one that’s half way decent.
