Memento Mori@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Who is the most famous person you've ever met?English
3·3 years agoMe too! I was walking around the fish market in Seattle and walked right by him. My partner then said “Wasn’t that the guy from the car show that you watch?” I doubled back and met him. Just said hello and shook his hand.
Memento Mori@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What are some examples of your tastes changing as you got older?English
1·3 years agoI remember being the kid at the salad bar at school who would just load up on croutons and cheese. I felt like I was the only one that didn’t like anything that I saw there!
You EXACTLY addressed the issue I have making these. All of the YouTube videos that I’ve watched use special 12" tortillas but I don’t have access to any bigger than 10". I’ll try your suggestion next time. Thanks!
If We Were Vampires by Jason Isbell.
Haunting lyrics about the how short the time is with the ones we love.
Memento Mori@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Would you explore space if given the chance? Why or why not?English
1·3 years agoI’d be happy to help support others to get to space but I’ll stay home. I just have no interest in it.
What size tortillas do you use?
Looks great, but the way.

1·3 years agoI may need to do that. I suggest that everyone stream the original file to avoid transcoding but they just may need to do it. Thanks!

1·3 years agoI have a similar setup. The only strange thing is that one house always seems to have buffer issues while the rest don’t (they’ll start a show and it will buffer every few minutes). What would you recommend in that situation kind stranger?
Memento Mori@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What is a technology/gadget you refuse to use and why?
2·3 years agoAgreed. Enjoy your life and food. Don’t let others shame you for it.
Was this all in one go or do you just have a local theater that really loves to show it?
I’m doing my part!
Memento Mori@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•How do you cheer yourself up after a rough day? Or a rough year?
2·3 years agoI eat a meal that I really love slowly. Enjoy every bite. Describe in detail (in your head) why they bite was special.
Memento Mori@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What app is so useful, you can’t believe it’s free?
2·3 years agoI genuinely want to use it but I have no idea how or even how to start. Any advice?
This is a totally normal response. Check out the book The Other Side of Sadness by George Bonanno if you want to learn more!
Would you be willing to share, please?
The Puzzler by A.J. Jacobs. I highly recommend it. I have never been especially into puzzles but learning about all the different kinds has made me very excited to try them all out!
Memento Mori@lemmy.worldto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•How it going here? I'm looking forward to helping fuck up Reddit's IPO.
3·3 years agoSame for me. I switch back and forth between them. I just uninstalled Summit, Jerboa, and Liftoff today.
Memento Mori@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's a quote that has stuck with you for your whole life?
21·3 years agoYou don’t have to set yourself on fire to keep others warm.

I agree for the most part. However, in my effort to post content, I’ve gotten more than a few snarky or mean comments about the quality of the content. I get it if it’s not for you but just down vote. You don’t need to make the person feel bad for trying to help Lemmy grow.
