This album was pretty mellow. I think I need to listen to it again to see how I feel about it, but it was easy to listen to.

This album has been stuck in my head for days, so I think I like it quite a bit. Thanks for sharing it.

I didn’t like ‘One and One’–something about it grated for me. (A bit sing-song?) But I listened to the rest of the album and enjoyed it. It’s a good album to listen to while I’m doing my weekend chores this morning.

(I feel like my comments are probably kinda shallow and repetitive. I don’t know a lot about music, but I’ve been trying to broaden my horizons lately.)

Oh this was fun. Definitely can tell it’s from the late 90s because it has a very nostalgic feel for me. It’s funny how a song can evoke a time and place like that.

I don’t think I’ve listened to this type of music much before. I did like it.

Definitely a dark topic, though given the direction humanity seems to be headed, maybe more people should hear and think about historical events like Hiroshima. The lyrics seem pretty blunt and straightforward about the topic–not really any obfuscation in the meaning. Probably being too ‘clever’ with the topic would be disrespectful anyway.

I particularly enjoyed that spoken-word track.

There was a static sound on some parts. Intentional, I think?

The sound makes me think of ‘RPG town music.’ Can just picture walking around and chatting with people and shopping.

Edit: I wonder if the ‘Mustard Seed’ song is a reference to the Kamloops homeless shelter with that name in addition to the plant.

Oh, I liked this. Something about it reminds me of Ocarina of Time. Also has the kind of soothing/repetitive feel that I like in a stim song.

Edit: Listened to the rest of the album. Kinda reminds me of when I was a teen living in a small town just kinda wandering around bored with my friends looking for something to do.

I don’t know if this holds true in general, but I noticed on a road trip that when we crossed from BC to Alberta, the rest areas seemed to disappear. Like in BC most roads have stops along the way with gravel parking lots, maybe a little park with an outhouse and a picnic table, or a viewpoint with some signs describing history. When we crossed into Alberta it was like the rest stops disappeared. But it might have just been the road we were taking.

I thought about posting on BuyCanadian but I was worried they would find it off-topic as that place is more focused on products. (e.g. Not so a place for talking about a Canadian book you read recently.)

That’s a good point about splitting it up between the different locations. EhVideos seems like it has the shows/movies/old commercials covered. MapleMusic would work if I wanted to talk about Unleash the Archers or something like that.

I’m not necessarily opposed to creating one, though.

I didn’t want to create something redundant if it did exist, but I don’t see anything. I’ll put some thought into what form it could take and what sorts of things would be reasonable to include.

For years I had one fork leftover from when I first moved out on my own. Every single time I got that fork, I was disappointed because it was so light and flimsy compared to all the other forks.

Then one day I realized… I could just throw out the fork. The fork was adding no value to my life. I had other forks. So I threw it out and then felt vaguely sad for some reason I could not identify.

So I guess that was my favourite fork.

I have yet to decide if I will thin them or just let them happen.

I tried the ketchup flavoured one, but they have a lot of kinds.

Thoughts:

• Tasted a lot like how I remember ketchup chips from when I was a kid.
• They appear to be the same seasonings they use on their pretzels, which I also really like.
• Started clumping after only two weeks. (They all do that, but it’s a bit fast.)

My dog is super picky with kibbles, but she likes their marine food. I only switched recently so it will be interesting to see if her coat changes.

The ‘snuggle sacks’ on there look like something my dog would like. (She loves going under blankets.)

I only have one balcony, so I’m a bit limited for outdoor space. Thanks for sharing details of your setup, though. I’ll think about what I can do.

Sounds like we’ve grown similar things. This year I’m trying to grow more tomatoes and peppers, since those have done the best for me (interior BC.) Various herbs too because those actually save me money. I’ve been wanting to make carrots happen, but they just haven’t been working out. (Though the little stunted ones I got tasted great.)
