Businesses want me to do something with an app and Im like I don’t use a smartphone (I have one for work but since I would not get one for personal reasons as far as im concerned I don’t have one because I don’t want to use it like that. I will use it as a camera but not to scan qr codes).

I have never seen a geoengineering that does not seem to have big possilbe side effects and cause a fair amount of its own co2 emmisions (constant flights or whatnot to renew). the only thing to me that seems maybe is the idea of a space shade which could be easily scrapped if side effects came up.

I rarely touch my terminal and do so only because I am already familiar with it. I should use it more. I don’t think its any more necessary to use the terminal in linux than it is in windows for a computer user. I consider zorin the most user friendly and mainly because its out of the box (when its installed it has software already on that fits for most things people want to do with a computer.)

this is sorta a funny article given its more about sharing video on standard social media can expose you. just wipe the metadata on what you witness and the filming itself is fine. Share on the fediverse and let someone there move it to social media. Its actually kinda a good system as people who can’t go protest due to physical limitations or even as much with time can take the tracking hit as part of their contribution and the boots on the ground can get cover.

I really don’t see doing reboots of cartoons like this. If the simpsons or bobs burgers or family guy stopped. I just can’t see someone else picking them back up or rebooting them. I mean if its the same people like with futurama then yeah it can work. I mean family guy to me is sorta a take on the simpsons. Make a rip off sure or have them influence something new. I mean the jetsons and flintstones. Family setup is always going to be a super common thing.

As much as we all knew bad stuff was coming the ability to continually say things that clearly is false given the video evidence is just stunning. I really don’t get anyone buying this. I mean its practically impossible to not see the videos. It boggles my mind that somone could somehow only watch the edited versions and not even accidentally see some of the raw stuff.

problem is that satire is now just stupid stuff they have not did or say yet. Like satire ten years ago was far fetched relative to what politicians or celebrities or stuff was doing but now its just stuff that is about the same as what they have done recently.

love to you guys but every time I see something like this it drives me crazy that my society is light years from it. trying to claw back basic rights here. I am glad some places in the world are trying to be utopic than dystopic though. Much better than seeing something which makes me wonder if all the world is death marching to doom.
