Scarlet Witch wasn’t originally Romani… she was originally still Jewish. You know, since she was Magneto’s daughter. The Romani thing came later. So that’s kind of a mischaracterization. The Johnny Depp as native american was super wierd, like the black face RDJ in Tropic Thunder. It was cringe @.@.

Lol. Could definitely see the poor vet line. A dystopia future would certainly treat a veteran even worse than our modern dystopia @.@.
The mix of patchwork pants and cyberware makes me wonder more about the setting he is in. But this art is pretty badass. I love the pose and the detail.

10 is actually only 2. The number of people misunderstanding binary here is mind blowing xD.
So what people are meaning to say is women’s feelings are more important than men’s? I think the statistics should matter xD. But I don’t think bears attack people as often as people are trying to make out.

News@lemmy.world•Boomers wanting to downsize face huge tax bills
02·2 years agoTo be fair, it wasn’t the attitude that destroyed the infrastructure. Despite people’s attitude toward taxes, they still paid. The problem is precisely that they don’t like where that money is going. In most cases, their taxes are just funding a trust fund baby’s extra paycheck while they sit in office and neglect their duties while discussing divisive politics to distract from the fact that they are robbing the American people. A lot of people aren’t against the idea of paying taxes, but rather America’s inability to appropriately spend money on the common good.

Belittle isn’t feminine. It’s gender neutral and not quite the same. The difference between the phrasing is subtle, but there. Belittling is when we try to make someone feel less important or to just disparage them. To emasculate someone is to paint them as less masculine or weak. We do have a reverse of emasculating, though. Which, we dont really have a term I know of to describe the de-feminizing of a woman. Fortunately, society seems to mostly depart from the more toxic views as it pertains to less feminine women now than before, but largely the opposite view is still dominant in most of the world when it comes to men.

I did! I will admit I don’t remember as much of it as I should have as I was not paying full attention at the time. Might give it a more genuine watch again sometime.
