I don’t think I will ever be able to use anything but KDE. Tried every last one of them and this is the only one that clicked for me. On the steam frame, your interaction with KDE shouldn’t be significant since you’re mainly using this thing to play your games. So, I wouldn’t worry about it too much if I were you.

KDE@lemmy.kde.social•How to fix drag & drop stopping before I release left click?
4·2 days agoRun both apps from terminal and do the drag and drop and see what it tells you.
I appreciate the effort, but I meant for the question “what kind of Linux user are you?”
Are there options to choose from?
What’s this post supposed to mean? I’m actually confused.

Steam Hardware@sopuli.xyz•The sorry state of saving (mostly a rant)
5·15 days agoSaves and unskippable cutscenes are my enemy. Once a game doesn’t allow me to save whenever I wanted to, and skip cutscenes, I’m done with it. Latest one that pissed me off so bad on both ends is Indian Jones and the great circle. For fuck’s sake, I’m here to play a game, not watch a movie. I don’t care about the cutscenes one bit. Let me skip them. Those who want them can have them. It’s insane. It also doesn’t let you save and won’t save until you change places. It was the most annoying shit I’ve dealt with. I just don’t play it anymore.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What's your kinda-unimpressive 'claim to fame'?
4·1 month agoWhole heartedly agree with this. As an immigrant, back home, everyone knew Jordan, Michael Jackson and Mohammed Ali. I’ve even watched Ali’s fights on VHS tape (if that’s the correct term for the old video tapes) back in the 80s when I was a little kid. I did the same with Jordan’s games later on. I’ve listened to Jackson songs and danced (horribly) with them (to them?). In my country now, hardly anyone knows James, or any of the new generation.
I’ve actually fancied a real podcast in real time during gameplay. A podcast that specifically talks about things relevant to the game itself so it doesn’t feel made up.
Lmao. This pic fucking creeps me out every single time.

32·1 month agoI’ve made breakfast for LeBron James, Kevin Love and also Denzel Washington. I was the breakfast cook in a hotel they stayed at. LeBron was a dick, never even said thank you. Denzel and Kevin were some of the nicest humans I’ve ever met.
Wait until you hear the radio in fallout4. Man, that shit was sofa king good.

Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•I need to vent about plastic milk jugs
41·1 month agoYour explanation doesn’t make sense to me. The dimple is in the center of the jug, how is it related to the level of milk there?
Coincidentally, I read this while listening to a very sad song 🤦🏽.

Omfg. I love you. 😭. I tried this very last week to make it work through their workaround and it never wanted to work out. Thank you so much bringing this up.
