That was my solution. You can freeze google services on your phone to stop the updates but then you have to choose between the functionality of many apps you got from the store and all the ones you did not.

However Google has relented by allowing provisions for a sort of “dev mode” like you have on all android phones where you just have to do some esoteric bullshit to opt back in to installing from other sources. For now, anyway. You know how they are.

I took a forklift from work and I just drove it out the doors and across the country. For some reason it took me all the way to the coast. One of the few dreams that I ever felt like had a definitive ending instead of just waking up. I’m not sure, perhaps the memory has been distorted with time
