Still down for me. Too lazy to find another workaround lol

Idk if related but started getting a 401 error in Boost for Reddit today using my own API key.
Qobuz has seemed to stay on top of generated music for me so far even with recommendation playlists.
If we can’t have 5 ongoing conversations simultaneously I don’t want none of it!

Autism@lemmy.world•It's Friday 06/19/2026. Hey, What's Going On!English
6·16 days agoWent snack shopping with the girlfriend yesterday because tomorrow we’re going to watch big sailboats (Sail GP F50) go nearly 100km/h! (I like sailboats)
Looks good! Put in a similar requirements as I have on my sailboat and the system it spit out was pretty close to what I have working for me.
Eh, I never had any issues taking my concerta in the morning and having beers in the evening. Not sure what the negative effects supposedly should be lol
I usually don’t drink much if I took a Ritalin booster but I’d still have a beer if going out for dinner 🤷♂️
(But to answer your question, the amount you’d ingest while cooking would be negligible. Add it a few minutes earlier if you’re worried.)
Last time I took a mental health sick leave was for three months after a breakup. Back then I moved into my parent’s in-law suite and basically just tried having one single task on my todo list at a time. Wether that was dishes, making my bed or showering. (This excluded taking care of my cat as she didn’t sign up to be neglected) I mostly worked on 3D modeling projects at the time and worked through the process of buying a sailboat to live on. The biggest help for me was being able to get “old people meals” from the local small grocery store and having.
These days I haven’t needed to take time off because I pre-emptively sail to a remote anchorage for a week or two and separate myself from being able to run errands or be available for people except the once that help me recover (they bring me food and cuddles :3). No neighbours, no noises that aren’t me (except the screaming kitty) Only me in my lil solar powered spaceship taking naps until I slowly start being able to do the tasks I wanna do.
I know I’m doing better when I start just naturally cleaning up the counters, working on lil projects and my brain doesn’t need 2-3 naps a day. For my sick leave I was starting to look forward to working on my work projects by the third month. Oh and the emotional disregulation started fading lol
But yeah, sleep and reducing demands (including even just the POSSIBILITY of doing things) is key for me.

Coffee@lemmy.world•How's your coffee routine? Can you go without it?
6·1 month agoI just forget one day and then don’t have coffee for a month or two before I remember 🤷♂️
Otherwise it’s either using my picopresso or a tiny french press.

1·1 month agoOh 100% And I was thinking of extreme examples with the Pickering Nuclear station having (once up to) 8 550MW reactors dumping heat into a fairly shallow part of the lake and the NB reactor having no chance to remotely affect the bay of Fundy temps lol.
Lil halicination farms on the seafloor are a dumb idea but not because of heat affecting the environment beyond the thousands of organisms that would live directly on them.
When on stims I set my alarm for an hour before I gotta be up, take meds and go back to bed. Wake up as the meds are already kicking in.
After that it’s just doing whatever works for you to release some of those sweet sweet brain chemicals your meds are effective on.

19·2 months agoThe plants on the lakes so monitor the water temp so they don’t affect the ecosystem during the warmer seasons still.
But I doubt the one in NB had to worry about that when more water flows by it than all the rivers in the world combined.
But yes, much better source of cooling at the cost of maintenance and equipment. Just like tidal power but with fewer moving parts.

Work Reform@lemmy.world•Be a problem that Billionaires can't solve
7·2 months agoEven more dumb than those. Orcas aren’t touching the luxury yacht class of boats. Even the one pictured is at most a few million brand new or <100-300k if old and probably run by a solo elderly couple living out their retirement.

10·2 months agoIf only the yachts orcas target weren’t the rich people kind that first come to mind…
They’re just the homes of unfortunate regular people that are traveling using the wind on boats worth less than your average home…
I may live on a “yacht” but it’s worth the same as a new base model Honda Civic. We ain’t billionaires yo.

The most worth it surcharge for a movie ever! Even gives you a summary of what’s happening and notifies you with vibrations just before a pee break and with an OLED screen you can see the countdown without lighting up the entire place.
