I’m glad that India had laws on the books forcing the original American polluter to take their trash back to the point of origin. I’d like to see American laws adding additional charges against American shippers with fine placed so high that its not worth the risk of a company or person trying it in the future.

Americans pay a fairly large amount of money for recycling and disposal. That high cost is supposed to ensure the recycling and disposal happens properly. If American companies are taking polluting shortcuts to complete the job (such as unregulated export), then they’re stealing money from Americans paying that bill. That should cause an American legal response to these polluters on the grounds of theft too.
