There used to be something called reddit gold, which gave you access to some additional features iirc. I never bought it but people could gift it to you if they liked your post, so I had it a few times. Then later there were some kind of coins you could buy, or other badges or something. All pretty useless.

Oh that. I remember someone gave me gold once, and I got access to r/Lounge. The most boring subreddit ever.
But then there was CenturyClub
I paid one time for the 3rd party app I used. No regrets.

Nah, I left Reddit when it stopped working. God many good years of it though.
