The Ukrainian state wouldn’t stand on its own legs for a day without external support. In fact the entire war and everything leading up to it (remember Euromaidan?) has been manufactured by the NATO-fascists. But having Ukraine handled by local fascists and their paramilitaries makes controlling a foreign country easier.
