    Holy cow! What an incredible feat! In the AUSTRALIAN ocean of all places???

    I want to make a joke about a get-out-of-chores for life card but honestly I’m just so impressed by his determination.

    It’s unclear if he used a public phone - do they still have pay phones in Australia? Or did he flag down someone with a cell phone? I think this makes a case that public beaches should have pay phones in case someone needs to call emergency services.

    Just wow. Kid deserves a medal.
