I just thought of how much I’d benefit from a way to filter out communities matching a name pattern, saw there was no way to do it in the voyager app, and then checked the piefed web ui and there it is. Now I can finally stop playing whack-a-mole with -moe communities (murdermoe, mechamoe, etc) when anime girls aren’t my thing.
This post is half for other chronic app-users like me who may not have seen this till now, and half just to say thank you again to @rimu@piefed.social and everyone else who contributes for making such an awesome feature-complete platform.
Doing dev work, sometimes it’s too easy to just see an endless ocean of feature requests and bug reports and feel like what you are working on must be the shittiest piece of spaghetti code out there. It might still be that, but it is at least nice to hear it is working for somebody. Thanks!
Piefed is da bomb!
I wish I joined it straight away (I made a rookie move to sign up to ML when I decided to drop reddit).
Much nicer UI/UX and development trajectory! I wish more users and communities would drop Lemmy (I am Ukrainian, so you can imagine how it felt when I discovered the head dev of Lemmy is an admin on Lemmygrad).
Thank you to everyone involved!
Imma move this into the PieFed joy community because I can!
