    It sounds like he’s a good teacher, and not a preacher. A teacher shouldn’t explicitly tell you what their political beliefs are, and for the most part I don’t see much factually wrong or contradictory with what’s been said… other than maybe that Socialism and Communism always devolve into Fascism. I think it’d be more accurate to say they devolve into Authoritarianism.

    I used to be baffled by these things until I learned about the quantity of drugs consumed by some of my instructors.

    Pretty sure he is differentiating between theory and praxis.

    In theory it’s the most humanitarian system.

    In praxis it always leads to fascism. As an example Stalin, while communist, has a similar track record to Hitler.

    The best null theory for an inconsistent teacher isn’t “crazy” or “weird” but “employee”.

    “Socialism and communism always lead to facism” is exactly the sort of thing the American right would put in statewide tests and educational standards to keep Americans from voting to nationalize health care.
