@Libb You know, hindsight is 20/20 as they say and many will hate to admit it, but de Gaulle was right and maybe we should have depended less on the Marshall plan and we might not be in that dependant bind we are in now. But considering what we have to deal with, I will settle for MOST procurement going to European manufacturers with the intent to switch to full autonomy or work with reliable partnerd like Canada or Japan.
I would think it’s a wise choice too, whether people agree with it or not. What worries me is the willingness of the EU to act as things had not changed, at least since the April tariffs & the subsequent actions and… threats toward EU, like if most the EU leaders were unable to… just watch was happening. But like I said that’s more akin to a gut feeling, a bad taste in the mouth, and it certainly is not an informed opinion.
