I can’t say I’ve listened to too much of this band’s output in the past, but I remember liking their 2019 album Walk Beyond the Dark. However, I’ve been listening to this all morning and am really digging it. Anybody else checking this out today, or have any thoughts on it?
I’ll be checking it out at some point. I really enjoyed In The Absence Of Light. Some of their newer stuff is good too.
I haven’t listened to that album of theirs before, but I’ll have to give it a spin soon! Would you say there’s a noticeable difference between its sound and what you’ve heard of their newer stuff?
I’d say its more riff-y than the later stuff. I’m not super well acquainted with anything after ITAOL but if I remember correctly there’s more of a focus on thick atmosphere in the later records. ITAOL is moody in it’s own way, though.
