Most people that spout the 2nd amendment are maga trumpers. Don’t underestimate the amount of people that voted for him, still support, and will continue to support him deep into a dictatorship.

Just sayin’, don’t think this shit’ll be easy. Especially if we’re all waiting for somebody else to do it.

This like driving in a high speed vehicle towards a cliff that you know the car and the driver and the passengers won’t survive … and everyone arguing that the car won’t fly off the cliff

That’s good because I think you were looking for state secession. Succession is the action or process of inheriting a title, office, property, etc.

Removing statehood would probably lead to more revolt and civil war.

A proper reconstruction for 20 years or so and baring current elected Republicans from office for life, barring their 1st generation descendants, actually trying traitors with treason this time, bolster the education system, un-gerrymander the voting districts, ensure everyone has easy access to voting, automatically register all citizens to vote, do away with the electoral college, and that should just about take care of it.

What value do red states states bring to the table? I say let them have their shit holes for a while. Maybe that will disabuse them of this idea that cities are useless godless trash fires with no value. Then they can agree to accept first world values and we let them mooch. I want to help those who deserve it but we got into this mess from a hatred of the principles which makes countries decent. Conservatives won’t learn without feeling the consequences of their trash policies. We’ve been coddling red states just by the way the US exists today.

Very few truly blue states, we have blue cities and red rural areas, very hard to make that work in a civil war. For instance I’m in the deep south but in a capital city, there are rainbow crosswalks and Ukraine flags everywhere. We can’t succeed from our state unfortunately but we aren’t turning red either.

However all Level 1 Trauma Centers are in blue cities, would be interesting to see what happened if we turned those off for the rural voters.

blue balkanization, all the blue states, balkanize while excluding the red ones, also expelling the gop from all political positions.
