Be civil. This is subjective on purpose. While free speech is important, a kind, just world is more so.
Posts MUST contain your own, original input. If a post contains just a link, or low-effort one-liner, it’ll probably be removed. TO BE EXPANDED UPON.
Provide alternatives to paywalled links IN ADDITION to the original link whenever possible. If it’s an article, other articles reporting the same/similar - NOT SCREENSHOTS.

This is a non-exhaustive list. Not everything can be listed but as long as posts are genuine and contribute something there isn’t too much to worry about. You’ll be informed if something violates the spirit of this community.
Sports - While sports are a huge past-time for a lot of us, I feel as though a “general” community isn’t a good fit for that sort of content. This isn’t a “blanket” ban on that sort of content in the community, however removal will probably be pretty heavy-handed based on how the content ties into the broader “News/Info/Thoughts about Upstate” idea of the community.
No illegal stuff (especially anything that is directly harmful to another person or has the potential to be).
