No need to apologize!

No need to apologize!
2009, pls.
But I guess with the end caps from 2006.

a) I think there are plenty of hints at ADHD in your post. That doesn’t make you dumb, it just means your brain is wired differently that most people expect.
b) Dropped out of my classes half way through my 1st semester for computer science. A few years later, I got an associate’s degree in “New Media Production” or something. Building websites. Hated working with a client for my final project. Went BACK to my original school for a few more semesters. Still never completed my bachelor’s.
I’ve been with the same company now for 20 years in a slew of roles that have led to me being a Salesforce Administrator. For me it’s been about wanting to know more stuff, working hard, and taking opportunities as they come along. I’m not career driven, but hell if I’m not going to apply for positions that I know I can do and will make me more money.
Now I have a kid who is 19 (with ADHD) who just finished her first year of part-time community college and definitely didn’t pass all her classes. She’s moving to Florida soon to work in the Disney College Program. I wish she put more focus on school, but I suppose that’s how my parents felt too. She’s smart and a hard worker, and I’m sure she’ll figure it out eventually.

Hummus. I don’t like mush. But then I ate some and it is fucking delicious mush.

Yup. Supervisor in a call center. Guy didn’t like what I was saying and tried to pull the "My dad owns <local budget oil delivery service>!” Okay, good. You still aren’t getting what you want AND I won’t be buying my oil from your dad anymore.
This was years ago and I found out recently that the company has been folded into one of the larger full service providers who I do use. I can only hope that they were bought out and I haven’t given their family a penny since.

This still trips me up sometimes. I’ve mostly trained myself, but some days… I try long pressing the image, nope. I look for a kebab menu, nope. Then I kick myself and yell SHARE MENU in my head.
Long press an image to get options for it is my preference, but a menu option outside of Share works.

I haven’t looked. Not long ago, I decided to just ditch Casa entirely. Moving all my containers out and rebuilding them took me a week or so. There were some apps that I missed something or other on and had to start fresh with. Luckily nothing too critical.
Between Homarr, Dashdot, and Dockhand, I don’t feel like I’m missing anything.

The only thing I appreciated in the article was that the judge said that a fetus wasn’t a person.
Book 5 is my next read. I try and stagger them with other things to draw it out some and make sure I don’t burn out.

All 50-70% off translating to prices between $5 (FFVII) and $15 (Trials of Mana).

Gabdalf: Bilbo, I have an idea. If you’ll allow me to slip my pipe up your bum, I think I can cure you of your wanderlust. Make you a nice, respectable hobbit.
Travel. Sure, it’s not usually thrilling travel, but 4x a year to central Florida, out to San Francisco for Dreamforce, and 1-2 visits to client sites each year is still nice when you’re otherwise WFH.
I’m old and 80s hair bands were my real first step into music. I still love that shit and will seek out bands I never heard back in the day.
Dokken is one band that I WANT to love, but I just don’t. A few songs here and there. Talented for sure. But I think it’s mostly that Don’s melodies just don’t land for me. Like I just watched that video and I couldn’t hum you a single bar.
Undoubtedly, I’ll be listen to Dokken all weekend trying to convince myself again.

Your last comment must be about the “Outside seeding” section of the ratio guide?
I guess it depends on the individual’s attitude toward the entire idea of sharing. To me, I can improve my ratio on a private tracker while further benefitting the whole by continuing to seed what I download on the public tracker. If I’m already seeding the files for one tracker, why wouldn’t I just keep the other one active?
If the attitude is I will download this from the public tracker, stop the torrent immediately, and then seed for my ratio… That’s the kind of person a private tracker probably doesn’t want and maybe won’t last anyway.
A customer also has to activate Free Roll, which leaves the vehicle in Neutral without applying the parking brake.
Oh good, they came up with a stupid new term for something that people know, understand, has been around for well over 50 years.

Incredible work. Can’t wait to dive in.

Sorry, I know I shouldn’t, but I need to clarify. Are you saying that Michael Jackson was killed because he was exposing pedophiles?
Mostly music for me. 35ish years of CD purchases, modest vinyl collection. Bootlegs (though digital these days).
Some books, mostly just favorite authors/franchises.
I also have a decent enough GameCube collection.

IDK. I’ve been married to a former coworker for 25 years and things are going okay.
Work is a huge part of people’s lives and where adults tend to meet new people. I understand why you’d say it, but I just don’t think disqualifying anyone you work with as a potential partner is practical or even a great idea.
ON THE OTHER HAND… I did move to another state with a woman I worked with and that ended after just a couple of months when she started seeing another coworker.
So maybe you have a point.
Not to get too Matt Damon or anything, but I’m an unapologetic Weezer fan. And I’ll say that I think they released their strongest album after Blue 20 years into their career with Everything Will be Alright in the End.
As a 50 year old, Pinkerton has become so cringy and uncomfortable to listen to. I won’t say it isn’t still a great album, but ugh.
